These drinking glasses are upcycled from empty wine bottles; a waste product from Zanzibar’s tourism industry. The wine bottles are collected from hotels and restaurants, cleaned and cut in different sizes. The drinking glasses are transparent and are packed per 2 in a giftbox. These new glass items do not only look good on your dining table, they are also eco-friendly and durable.

The upcycled drinking glasses are ethically made and sourced in small village on Zanzibar, Tanzania

Origins: The producer of these glasses is located on Zanzibar, Tanzania and is a certified fair trade organisation according to WFTO. They support marginalized youth of Zanzibar and teaching them the craft of upcycling wine bottles as well as other life skills and English. This project contributes to the waste management of Zanzibar’s tourism industry.
